With the start of Wimbledon 2025 approaching next week, the draws for both the men`s and women`s singles competitions have now been completed. Players have learned who they will face in the first round at the All England Club.

Men`s Singles Draw

British number four seed Jack Draper is scheduled to begin his tournament against Sebastian Baez of Argentina. Draper`s potential path through the draw includes possible encounters with Novak Djokovic in the quarter-finals and World No. 1 Jannik Sinner in the semi-finals, though he is in the opposite half to two-time champion Carlos Alcaraz, meaning they could only meet in the final on Sunday, July 13.

Alcaraz, the defending champion from 2023, is set to start his bid for another title against Fabio Fognini. World No. 1 Jannik Sinner will go head-to-head with Luca Nardi in his opening match.

Women`s Singles Draw

In the women`s draw, British player Emma Raducanu has been drawn against fellow Brit and teenage wildcard Mingge Xu, who is ranked World No. 318. Raducanu, aged 22, is considered the heavy favorite to advance from this all-British tie.

Two other young British wildcards also face challenging opening matches against seeded opponents. 16-year-old Hannah Klugman will play against Canadian 29th seed Leylah Fernandez, who was the runner-up to Raducanu in the 2021 US Open final. Also 16, Mika Stojsavljevic takes on American 31st seed Ashlyn Krueger.

Another key British player, Katie Boulter, faces a difficult draw against the 8th seed, Paula Badosa.

Coco Gauff begins her Wimbledon campaign against Dayana Yastremska. World No. 1 Iga Swiatek opens against Veronika Kudermetova, and Elena Rybakina will face Elina Avanesyan.
