Is Tony Ferguson vs Dillon Danis Still Happening?

On Wednesday, GFL announced the cancellation of its initial events set for May 24 and 25.

Paige Vanzant and other well-known fighters were also expected to participate in these inaugural GFL shows.

However, Ferguson and Danis suggest their fight is still likely to occur under the new league.

Danis initially expressed frustration about the cancellation, especially after a previous fight cancellation.

“Bro, I just wanna f—— fight. wtf,” he tweeted.

But, two hours later, Danis updated: “Just got word, don’t believe everything you hear. My fight with Tony Ferguson is still on.”

Ferguson also posted a similar message on his Instagram story after training.

“Great practice. F—— bet it’s on. Dillon gon’ get it,” Ferguson wrote.
