Formula 1`s first triple-header of the 2025 season culminates at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in Jeddah.
Oscar Piastri`s impressive win in Bahrain places him just three points behind Lando Norris in the championship standings, with Max Verstappen close behind, only eight points away from Norris.
George Russell`s excellent performance in Bahrain, securing second place ahead of Norris, means he is now only 14 points behind Norris. The competition at the top of the F1 Drivers` Championship is very close.
McLaren holds a significant 48-point lead over Mercedes in the Constructors` Championship and is expected to be strong again at the challenging Jeddah Corniche Circuit.
Ferrari hopes to carry their improved performance from Bahrain into Jeddah, as both Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc aim for their first podium finishes of the season.
Saudi Arabian GP Track – Jeddah Corniche Circuit
The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, introduced to the F1 calendar in 2021, is known as one of the most demanding tracks for drivers. Its high-speed sections surrounded by walls require immense precision and bravery.
Drivers need total commitment, as getting closer to the walls increases speed but also the risk of a major accident.
Hamilton was victorious in the inaugural 2021 race. However, Red Bull has dominated the subsequent three races, with Verstappen winning in 2022 and 2024, and Sergio Perez in 2023.
Saudi Arabian GP Weather in Jeddah
Similar to Bahrain, Jeddah is expected to have dry and hot weather throughout the race weekend. Even during the evening sessions like FP2, Qualifying, and the Grand Prix, temperatures will remain around 30C (86F) on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
