Neffati Brothers Challenge Pudzianowski After Hall’s Quick Win

MMA News

Eddie Hall`s former opponents, the Neffati Brothers, have expressed interest in a 2-on-1 fight against Mariusz Pudzianowski following his recent fight on Saturday night.

Millions watched as Hall spectacularly knocked out the five-time World`s Strongest Man in under 30 seconds during his MMA debut at KSW 105 in Poland. This performance was arguably a more significant challenge and appeared cleaner than his previous encounter last summer with the influencer brothers, both of whom he knocked out at the same time.

Since their bout with Hall, the Neffati Brothers have successfully competed in another 2-on-1 fight. They have now issued a challenge to Pudzianowski, humorously pointing out that they managed to last longer against Hall than he did in his recent quick loss.

Eddie Hall`s impressive knockout victory over Mariusz Pudzianowski generated significant discussion within the combat sports world. Reactions came from various figures, including UFC champions like Tom Aspinall and Michael Bisping, while Joe Rogan was noted as someone who reacted positively to Hall`s post about the fight.

Among those watching keenly were the influencer twins, Jamil and Jamel Neffati. Having faced Hall previously and knowing his power, they humorously claimed they did better by surviving nearly three rounds, totaling six minutes, until the final seconds, even suggesting they were winning on the scorecards.

The Neffati brothers congratulated Hall on Instagram, stating, “He is called the beast for a reason.” In a subsequent post, translated from Polish, they added, “We are Tik Tokers, not fighters,” and humorously described their strategy against Hall: “And here the donkeys three rounds (two rounds won thanks to our ‘kick and run away’ tactics).”

In a later Instagram story, the brothers expressed a serious desire for a similar type of fight against Pudzianowski, writing: “Now I’m getting serious it would be an honor to stand in the ring with such a legend as Mariusz Pudzianowski. Respect was, is and always will be.”

Eddie Hall Open to Rematch, With Conditions

When Eddie Hall fought the Neffati brothers, aside from the unique 2-on-1 setup, a key rule was that the bout consisted of three two-minute rounds. Due to his significant size advantage and limited training time, he needed to compete in these shorter bursts.

However, for his fight against Pudzianowski, Hall had to agree to two four-minute rounds, as his opponent is a legitimate fighter who desired a more serious rule set. This change ultimately proved irrelevant as Hall secured the knockout within the first minute.

Following his victory, Hall expressed interest in facing `Pudzian` again, but only if the rematch uses the two-minute rounds he originally suggested. In his post-fight interview, he said, “Maybe Mariusz will do the rematch with two minutes rounds.”

Hall clarified his future intentions in combat sports: “I’ve got no aspirations to be number one in KSW. That’s just not for me. I want to come and have fun. I want to fight my heroes. I want to fight the freaks of the world.”
