KSI suggests Tony Ferguson might need a new opponent for his Global Fight League (GFL) debut.
Ferguson, a former UFC fighter, recently concluded a series of losses in the UFC and has signed with GFL, scheduling a fight with Dillon Danis.
However, before facing Ferguson, Danis is set to box KSI in Manchester, England on March 29.
Menacing Warning from KSI
In the lead-up to their boxing match, KSI has been aggressively taunting Danis.
He escalated his rhetoric on social media, asserting that his fight with Danis will have severe consequences for Danis` future.
KSI claims his victory over Danis will be so crushing that Danis will be forced to retire from combat sports altogether, effectively cancelling the Ferguson fight.
“I don’t think people understand what I’m about to do to Danis,” KSI posted online.
“His fight with Ferguson will be dead.
“His UFC dreams will be dead.
“His career in combat sports will finally be dead.”
Dillon Danis Trains with Alex Pereira
Dillon Danis is looking to bounce back after a disappointing boxing debut against Logan Paul in October 2023.
To prepare for his fight with KSI, Danis has been training his striking with fighter Alex Pereira.
Pereira has expressed support for Danis ahead of his upcoming match.
“I think it’s a good fight with two big names,” Pereira commented before his own fight at UFC 313.
“I trained with him today, and obviously, he’s a different weight, a different size than I am, and a different style as well.
“But he was doing very well, He is training with us, and I’ll be rooting for him – I couldn’t say anything different. But I’ll be watching the fight and hope he wins.”
