FIFA Club World Cup 2025 Schedule and Scores: Where to Watch Bayern Munich, Boca Juniors, Chelsea FC

Football News

The summer of soccer features a major new event this year with the debut of the expanded FIFA Club World Cup. Hosted in the United States, this tournament brings together 32 teams from around the globe to compete for a share of a substantial prize fund.

Several high-profile teams are participating in this revamped competition, including UEFA Champions League winners and major South American clubs like Boca Juniors, all aiming for a deep run. European teams form the largest contingent with 12 participants, while South America is represented by six clubs. Four teams each from Asia and Africa are also taking part, alongside five from North America, which includes three MLS sides. Oceania has one representative, Auckland City, notably the only amateur team in the competition.

While objectives vary, the stakes are high for all involved. Underdogs such as Lionel Messi`s Inter Miami and Simone Inzaghi-led Al-Hilal look to make an impact against European powerhouses expected to dominate. Teams like Real Madrid, Manchester City, and Inzaghi`s former club Inter Milan are among those crossing the Atlantic with high expectations, with Inter seeking a final trophy before the season concludes after finishing their domestic and continental campaigns without silverware.

As the action unfolds, here is a look at the schedule and results from the Club World Cup.
