Emma Raducanu has withdrawn from Britain’s Billie Jean King Cup matches in Holland due to fitness concerns.
The former US Open champion will take a short break from the WTA Tour this month to concentrate on her training in the UK.

Her team stated that Raducanu “loves representing Team GB in this event” but has had a “very busy schedule this year”.
Although there is no specific injury, they believe it is better for her long-term fitness to take time away from tournaments to rest and focus on a “mini training block for the next two to three weeks”.
Raducanu has traveled extensively in 2025, playing 14 matches across seven events in various locations including Australia, Singapore, UAE, Qatar, and the United States.
While there is no confirmed return date, the decision to withdraw is not expected to affect her preparations for the French Open in late May.
Next week, Great Britain will play against Holland and Germany as they aim to qualify for the BJK Cup Finals in Shenzhen, China, in November.
This unexpected decision has required team captain Anne Keothavong to find replacements for this crucial international event.
Raducanu, 22, had a successful run at the Miami Open in March, reaching the quarter-finals where she was defeated by world No.4 Jessica Pegula.
Her performance in Florida marked her first four consecutive wins in almost four years, and she has since returned to the world`s top 50.
During the Miami Open, she was assisted by Tennis Channel commentator Mark Petchey.
It is uncertain whether this was a one-time arrangement or if they will work together in the future.
It is understood that Petchey’s TV employers would support him if he decided to take on a coaching role.
However, Raducanu is still searching for a permanent coach, and her team has not provided any updates on coaching arrangements.
