Emma Raducanu has reportedly sparked controversy among Wimbledon members for allegedly breaking a club rule.

The 22-year-old tennis sensation often utilizes the All England Club`s facilities for training when she is in London.

It is claimed that Raducanu has upset fellow members by violating the prestigious all-white dress code.

For 150 years, Wimbledon has enforced a strict rule requiring players to wear only white attire on court.

However, sources indicate that the 2021 US Open champion has been seen wearing pink clothing during recent practice sessions at Wimbledon.

One club member reportedly told a news source: “It`s so unfair. Emma shows up in pink while everyone else respects the all-white rule. Who does she think she is?”

“Just because she`s a US Open winner doesn`t give her the right to disregard the dress code.”

Wimbledon`s regulations stipulate that players must wear “suitable tennis attire that is almost entirely white,” explicitly stating that “white does not include off-white or cream.”

The rules further specify: “There should be no solid mass or panel of coloring. A single trim is acceptable, but must be no wider than one centimeter.”

Past incidents include Roger Federer, who caused a stir in 2013 for wearing orange-soled trainers, leading to him being asked to change them.

Novak Djokovic was granted special permission to wear a grey knee brace last year. Nick Kyrgios also mentioned being fined £12,000 for wearing a red hat and shoes on court after a match in 2022.

This alleged dress code breach occurs as Raducanu has been dealing with a man exhibiting “fixated behaviour” at the Dubai Open.

A restraining order has been issued against the individual, and Raducanu’s security was increased at the Indian Wells tournament, where she was defeated in the first round by Moyuka Uchijima.
