Eddie Hall names ideal opponent after 30-second KO win over five-time World’s Strongest Man

MMA News

Eddie Hall`s professional MMA debut was a resounding success.

`The Beast` had originally challenged Mariusz Pudzianowski following a peculiar 2-on-1 fight last June.

Almost a year later, at KSW 105 on Saturday night, Eddie Hall knocked out the five-time World`s Strongest Man in just 30 seconds.

During his post-fight interview, the 336lb super heavyweight revealed who he wants to fight next.

What`s Next for `The Beast`?

Hall stated he isn`t aiming for top-tier fights following his successful debut.

The 37-year-old mentioned he wants to challenge his heroes and `the freaks of the world`.

Ideally, Hall expressed interest in a rematch with Pudzianowski, who immediately after his third consecutive loss, complained about receiving illegal blows to the back of the head.

“Maybe Mariusz will do the rematch with two minutes rounds,” he said.

“I’ve got no aspirations to be number one in KSW. That’s just not for me. I want to come and have fun. I want to fight my heroes. I want to fight the freaks of the world.”

Mariusz Pudzianowski Hints at Retirement

Pudzianowski had hinted at possible MMA retirement even before his 600lb ‘World’s Strongest Fight’ against Hall.

Following such a decisive defeat, the 48-year-old wasn`t keen on discussing a rematch.

“I’m not thinking about the future,” Pudzianowski admitted. “I turned 48, almost 49. The sport is for young people. What’s next? I don’t know.”
