Eddie Hall admits he’s already signed contract for next fight as he reveals likely MMA return date

MMA News

Speculation regarding Eddie Hall’s next fight has intensified considerably since his recent mixed martial arts debut.

Last Saturday night at KSW 105 in Gliwice, Poland, the former World’s Strongest Man delivered a sensational performance, defeating Mariusz Pudzianowski via TKO in a mere 30 seconds.

Following this impressive victory, `The Beast` has publicly challenged Dillon Danis and has been linked to potential matchups against several other prominent fighters.

Now, however, Eddie Hall has confirmed that he has already signed a contract for his upcoming MMA bout.

Eddie Hall reveals likely opponent and date for MMA return

During his post-fight interview at KSW 105, Hall unexpectedly called for a rematch against Pudzianowski.

This came as a surprise to many who had just witnessed him defeat the five-time World’s Strongest Man with such ease.

Nevertheless, the 37-year-old stated on Wednesday that he has indeed signed a contract specifically for a rematch with Pudzianowski.

Consequently, if the 48-year-old opts against retirement, the two are tentatively scheduled to face each other again towards the end of 2025.

“There is a two-fight deal with KSW,” Hall explained to Ariel Helwani. “The second fight is meant to be a rematch with Mariusz Pudzianowski. Potentially in November, but we’ve got to be realistic about it, I think that fight was a big eye-opener for a lot of people, and maybe Mariusz as well.”

Hall continued, “I don’t know if that rematch is going to happen. I would be interested in it. It would have to be for two-minute rounds, I wouldn’t agree to four-minute rounds again because it just made my camp so unbearable. The training for four-minute rounds, it just became so miserable for me.”

He added, “So, yeah, if it was to happen again, it would have to be the two-minute rounds. I’d happily fight Mariusz again and make it even more of an explosion.”

Eddie Hall vs Francis Ngannou?

The possibility of a fight between Hall and Francis Ngannou was initially suggested by KSW president Martin Lewandowski just last week.

Following his knockout win over Pudzianowski, Hall had previously dismissed the idea of fighting Ngannou in a notably blunt manner.

“I would rather get f—ed up the a— by the devil than fight Francis Ngannou,” Hall had stated emphatically at the time. “I’m not fighting Francis Ngannou, that’s not happening, no. Let’s just not mention my name anywhere near that name.”

However, during his conversation with Helwani, Hall appeared to have a significant change of heart regarding a potential fight with Ngannou.

This suggests that if Pudzianowski ultimately decides against the contracted rematch, Hall might surprisingly consider facing ‘The Predator’ next.
