McGregor Praises Dakota Ditcheva as ‘Next Big Thing’

During a recent BKFC event in Dubai, McGregor was present to witness two title fights and the debut of UFC veteran Aleksei Olenik. Olenik suffered a knockout loss.

Also attending the event was PFL star Dakota Ditcheva, who gained prominence last year by winning the PFL women’s flyweight tournament and a $1 million prize.

Ditcheva is considered a rising star, and there have been calls for the UFC to sign her, especially after her appearance at UFC London.

At the event, McGregor and Ditcheva met for the first time, and their interaction was recorded.

“Dakota, a superstar, what’s up sweetheart,” McGregor greeted Ditcheva.

“You’re the next big thing, baby. Great to see you. You’re a strong woman, good girl. Awesome, great to meet you. What’s next for you?” McGregor asked.

“I don’t know. PFL are working on something,” Ditcheva replied.

“PFL are working on something for you? Superstar right here, 100%. Dakota, great to see you,” McGregor added.

Ditcheva last competed in November, achieving a career-best win against former UFC title challenger Taila Santos.

She will not participate in the 2025 PFL women’s flyweight tournament and is expected to compete in PFL’s super-fight events, which may lead to periods of inactivity.

McGregor’s Security Involved in Incident with Fan

Later in the evening, an incident occurred where a fan allegedly attempted to approach McGregor, leading to intervention by McGregor`s security.

A video circulating on social media shows McGregor’s security team in an altercation with a fan, resulting in the fan being bloodied.

McGregor hopes for a more peaceful atmosphere during the second night of the BKFC event in Dubai.
